Jarvis Boatwright is thrilled to have made a verbal commitment to join the USC Trojans. After his recent trip out West, the Clearwater native was thoroughly impressed with what the Trojans had to offer. Despite his junior season being cut short due to an injury, Boatwright's impressive performances had already caught the attention of several top schools. While the University of Florida had once seemed like the obvious choice, Boatwright wanted to make a decision based solely on what was best for him. Despite his hometown loyalty, he confidently determined that USC was the perfect fit. The Trojans are getting one heck of a ball player.

What are the Trojans getting in Boatwright:
The USC Trojans are getting a prospect that possesses a unique skill set that can play both sides of the ball. USC will most likely use him on the defensive side as a Defensive Back. Boatwright will be a solid player with the speed and aggressiveness to match up with WRs in the Pac12. I like his size and ability to cover.
